Brief history of TUOBAAT:
On April 7 1996, the University ever hosted a dinner in Taipei when the former Vice-chancellor and Principal of the University Sir Michael Thompson as the inaugural meeting of our alumni association in Taiwan. This is the mile stone of our organisation.
1996年4月7日，伯大前副校監暨校長Michael Tompson爵士卸任交接後來訪台北，並且與校友會一同共享晚宴。這是校友會的里程碑。
We set the aims of the association are:
(1) to provide social contacts and various activities among the Alumni;
(2) to promote exchange and cooperation between the Association and various Taiwan universities;
(3) to provide counselling services to prospective University of Birmingham students.
我們將校友會組織的目標訂為：
(1)為校友提供接觸機會與各類活動。
(2)促進本會與台灣各大學之合作與交流。
(3)為伯大新生提供諮詢。
